On the left we have the decoy, on the right a painting of the 'real thing'. Not as much to do as I first thought:
1. Add black highlights to the chest area
2. Paint the head a lighter blue
3. paint the white wing strip blue
4. paint tail darker
5. paint white crescent on drakes' cheeks
Why do yanks make their ducks' tails white????
